RIS/PACS vendor McKesson's Cardiology software has gone live at a U.K. hospital group.
The Royal Cornwall Hospitals National Health Service (NHS) Trust in Truro installed McKesson's reporting software, which provides image archiving to facilitate the sharing and review of cardiac catheterization and echocardiography images, electrocardiograms, and echo procedure reporting.
Royal Cornwall Hospital is the biggest hospital in Cornwall providing emergency and specialist healthcare; its cardiology department is one of the largest departments within the hospital.
