The French Society of Radiology (SFR) has announced the death of Dr. David Goldlust.
Goldlust passed away on 10 December at age 79. He began his career as a professor at the University Hospital Saint Antoine in Paris and was later appointed head of the department at the hospital Jean Verdier. Goldlust then moved on to the Avicenne Hospital, where he served in that capacity until 2002.
"David had great intelligence, a good dose of humor, and a big heart," said his colleague Michael Brauner. "He was concerned about the best possible equipment, selection of staff, and the estate. His honesty and his desire to maintain a friendly atmosphere were particularly valued by his team. Our thoughts at this difficult time go to his wife, his son, and all his family."
