Which type of radiologist is future-proof? Is subspecialization the answer? How can the threat of teleradiology and outsourcing be met?

An initiative is underway to promote and facilitate structured reporting through the creation of a joint open repository for radiology report templates. The scheme, to be announced during ECR 2015, uses the RSNA's Web infrastructure. Contributions will be free from copyright. Get the story here.
Hybrid imaging is a central theme at ECR 2015. Clearly progress is being made, but adoption of PET/MRI is particularly slow.
