Bracco Imaging has introduced its SonoVue ultrasound contrast agent in Russia.
Healthcare professionals in Russia will be able to use SonoVue to perform dynamic imaging of contrast distribution and flow dynamics in echocardiography, vascular imaging, and microvascular imaging for characterizing focal breast and liver lesions, according to the vendor. Bracco completed the first Russian sales of SonoVue in July.
In support of the Russian launch of SonoVue, Bracco said it would be holding a series of educational activities to train interested centers in the correct use of contrast-enhanced ultrasound.
