Radiopharmaceutical provider Ion Beam Applications (IBA) has signed a contract with a center in Moscow for the installation of its Cyclone 70 cyclotron.
The 70-MeV cyclotron system, worth between 12 million and 15 million euros, will be installed at the Center for Development of Nuclear Medicine and will be dedicated to producing new medical isotopes used mainly in diagnosing severe diseases.
The Center for Development of Nuclear Medicine's main business areas are the supply of medical isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals for domestic and export markets, as well as medical services in Russia.
