U.K. RCR reveals plans for new training event

The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) will be holding a two-day Training the Trainers course for clinical oncologists and clinical radiologists on 24-25 June in London.

The new cross-faculty course, which has been developed in response to the General Medical Council (GMC) requirement that educational and clinical supervisors need to evidence "continuing professional development as an educator" in order to maintain their GMC recognized supervisor status and for the purposes of revalidation, has been designed to complement the existing RCR supervisor skills training, the RCR said.

The first day will cover effective learning and teaching, while the second day will focus on teaching and assessment in clinical practice. More information can be found here.
