French ultrasound technology developer SuperSonic Imagine is planning to go public with an initial public offering (IPO), according to an article in the French newspaper Le Figaro.
The company on 7 March announced the filing of regulatory documents with the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) as part of a planned IPO on the Euronext Paris exchange, according to the article.
Documents filed by the company indicate that it has an installed base of nearly 800 Aixplorer scanners in 54 countries worldwide. The firm's shear-wave elastography technology is particularly well-suited for breast ultrasound applications.
