PACS developer Sectra saw increased net sales and operating profit in the company's third fiscal quarter (end-January 31).
For the quarter, Sectra's net sales increased 2.1% to 209.6 million kronor (23.6 million euros), compared with 205.2 million kronor (23.2 million euros) in the same quarter of 2013. Operating profit increased 45% to 30.6 million kronor (3.4 million euros), compared with 21.1 million kronor (2.5 million euros) in the same quarter a year ago.
For the nine-month period, Sectra's net sales rose to 583.2 million kronor (66 million euros), up 2.5% from 568.9 million kronor ($68.3 million euros) in the same period of last fiscal year.
Nine-month operating profit increased by 53.3% to 73.9 million kronor (8.3 million euros), compared with 48.2 million kronor (5.4 million euros) last year.
