The German Radiological Society (DRG), the German Society for Vascular Surgery, and the German Society of Angiology have formed a certification program for interdisciplinary vascular centers.
The three organizations announced the collaboration during the Olbert Interventional Radiology Symposium (IROS) in Salzburg, Austria.
The certification process for accredited centers should help structure vascular surgery processes more clearly, initiate structural changes to strengthen the interdisciplines, and increase quality improvement, the three organizations said.
