Elekta receives China linac contract

Radiation oncology firm Elekta has received an order for 15 linear accelerators (linacs) from China's Health Department of the People's Liberation Army.

The deal includes Elekta Axesse linacs with Agility multileaf collimators, Elekta Synergy linacs, and treatment planning systems. Elekta's Mosaiq radiation oncology information system will be provided through the agreement.

The total value of the contract amounts to approximately 20 million euros.
