Ultrasound developer Terason has introduced the first in its new uSmart family of ultrasound scanners.
Suitable for point-of-care use in both hospital and outpatient environments, uSmart 3200T weighs less than 5 lb and features a 128-GB solid-state hard drive, Terason's Smart Gestures technology, an adaptive touchscreen, and the company's uConnect remote capabilities, according to the vendor.
Terason has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance and the European CE Mark for uSmart 3200T.
