Clemenceau Medical Center of Beirut, Lebanon, has received an Arab Health 2013 Achievement and Innovation Award for excellence in imaging and diagnostics at this week's Arab Health Exhibition and Congress in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Excellence in Imaging and Diagnostics award was one of nine award categories. This year's awards ceremony included more than 150 nominations from countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Lebanon, Bahrain, and Oman.
Clemenceau Medical Center's radiology department provides a range of diagnostic services with modalities ranging from basic radiographic imaging, fluoroscopy, digital mammography, and ultrasound to advanced procedures, such as spiral 64-slice CT, PET/CT, and real-time MRI, according to the institution.
