Hitachi Aloka Medical, a newly formed company arising from the merger of Hitachi Medical and Aloka, is making its European debut at the World Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB) congress, which begins in Vienna on Friday 26 August.
The Tokyo-headquartered company will highlight the Hitachi HI Vision and the Aloka ProSound Ultrasound platforms in its booth in the exhibition hall. The company will also sponsor a symposium at which Dr. Odd Helge Gilja, of the National Centre for Ultrasound in Gastroenterology at Haukeland University Hospital in Bergen, Norway, will present new research on the subject of high definition imaging technologies and elastography.
