Siemens Healthcare unveiled new clinical image sharing software called syngo.share at the Connecting Healthcare IT (conhIT) congress in Berlin 5-7 April.
Syngo.share allows healthcare institutions to manage and share clinical imaging data, including non-DICOM formats. The system virtually connects departmental archives, even across multiple locations of a hospital, according to the company.
Syngo.share also supports cross-vendor connectivity. It features a modular and scalable architecture that allows customers to pick from departmental or regional sharing deployments. Syngo.share supports data formats such as JPEG, AVI, and PDF, as well existing PACS.
