Siemens takes 1st U.K. syngo.plaza order

Siemens Healthcare has taken its first U.K. order for its new syngo.plaza PACS software.

The contract comes from Russells Hall Hospital, which is part of the Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The syngo.plaza software replaces an existing Siemens PACS network as part of Russells' Managed Equipment Service (MES) contract. The hospital currently has about 2,500 PACS users.
