Siemens wins U.K. ultrasound contract

Siemens Healthcare has won a contract for five of its ultrasound systems at a U.K. hospital foundation.

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust of Preston, U.K., has recently installed four Acuson S2000 units at Royal Preston Hospital and one at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital. The Trust now has a total of nine S2000 scanners, according to Siemens.
