Radiopharmaceutical firm Ion Beam Applications (IBA) has received a proton therapy center order from the Federal Medico-Biological Agency (FMBA) of Russia.
The center, which will be installed in Dimitrovgrad in the Ulianovsk region, will be the first gantry-equipped proton therapy center in Russia, according to the Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium-based firm. It's expected to open in 2014.
