Radiotherapy provider Nucletron has introduced three new offerings for brachytherapy applications.
Valencia Applicator is designed for use in brachytherapy treatment of small superficial malignancies and includes a patented flattening filter to provide a high degree of dose homogeneity, according to the Veenendaal, Netherlands-based firm. Another new product, Source Position Check Ruler, provides for proper calibration and operation of a Nucletron brachytherapy system.
The last new product, a CT/MR compatible applicator clamp and baseplate, is designed to offer optimal stabilization of CT/MR compatible applicators and virtually all other Nucletron body-site products and applicators, the company said.
