Ultrasound visualization developer TomTec Imaging Systems said it plans to debut a new version of its 4D RV-Function software at the 2007 European Society of Cardiology congress, to be held September 1-5 in Vienna, Austria.
The update comes a year after TomTec launched its software for right ventricular analysis based on 3D ultrasound data. The 4D RV-Function software will allow users to analyze the right ventricle by referring to familiar anatomical structures, important in cases of heart failure and pulmonary and congenital heart disease, the Munich, Germany-based company said.
