Eastman Kodak Health Group of Rochester, NY has agreed to collaborate with National Digital Medical Archive (NDMA) of Berwyn, PA, on product integration initiatives that will support the European mammography market's move from analog imaging to digital imaging and information technology.
The two firms will work together to create a range of products that will help healthcare facilities manage, archive, and process images and information for mammography screening, according to Kodak. The companies will offer Kodak's CareStream Information Management Solutions with Kodak VIParchive software platform-combine software, hardware, and professional services; NDMA will produce data and image management tools for quality assurance and compliance and visualization that will help streamline mammography workflow processes.
NDMA will also launch myNDMA, a citizen's health portal that will give patients personal health record management tools and allow them to upload and store medical digital images into a private Web site.
