Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Cordis Endovascular has launched its third-generation drug-eluting stent, the Cypher Select Plus, in many markets throughout the world, including countries in Western and Eastern Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.
The company expects to offer the device in most markets outside the U.S. and Japan within the next two quarters, according to Warren, NJ-based Cordis.
