Swedish radiation therapy firm Elekta has received an order from the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Science (MPI CBS) in Leipzig, Germany.
The Stockholm-based vendor will be replacing the institution's existing magnetoencephalography (MEG) equipment with its Neuromag MEG system.
In other Elekta news, the company has also won an order from St. Luke's Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. The project, valued at over 10 million euros, includes the installation of four Synergy medical linear accelerators, Elekta said.
