Philips Speech Recognition Systems of Vienna, Austria, has installed its SpeechMagic speech recognition technology at the Children's Hospital at Westmead (CHW) in New South Wales, Australia.
The 340-bed CHW facility produces some 55,000 reports each year within its radiology and nuclear medicine departments, and said the technology has helped reduce report turnaround time from two weeks to one day.
