Italian x-ray vendor Italray of Scandicci, Italy, plans to feature its new everest-X image processing engine for its X-Frame DR line of digital radiography products at next month's European Congress of Radiology (ECR).
The everest-X core algorithms are designed to discriminate morphological and attenuation/tissue differences at all exposure levels present at the same time in different areas of an image. Italray X-Frame DR systems feature amorphous silicon-based DR technology with single or double 43 x 43-cm flat-panel detectors.
Italray also recently completed the installation of six multifunctional DR trauma units at various hospitals in Italy.
