TomoTherapy completes deal in Germany

Radiation therapy firm TomoTherapy of Madison, WI, has completed installation of its radiation therapy platform at a German hospital group, the company reported.

Helios Hospital Berlin-Buch plans to begin treating patients with TomoTherapy Hi-Art in January 2008. Helios Hospital Berlin-Buch is the newest hospital constructed by the Helios Hospital Group, which is the largest hospital group in Germany, according to TomoTherapy. It will be the seventh German facility to install TomoTherapy Hi-Art, which was introduced in the U.S. in 2003.
