German PACS vendor medavis has released version 2.0 of its DICOM Importer Pro tool.
The new version has been bolstered with additional image acquisition features, allowing for support of non-DICOM image sources such as ultrasound or endoscopy systems, according to the Karlsruhe-based vendor. In addition, version 2.0 supports scanning of paper and film documents.
In other improvements, medavis said it has enhanced the tool's import features, allowing for users to share information in accordance with the DICOM standard.
