Ultrasound technology developer Misonix of Farmingdale, NY, has entered into a new distribution agreement with a Scandinavian firm.
The exclusive, three-year agreement allows Hemax Medical of Hvidovre, Denmark, to distribute Misonix's BoneScalpel ultrasonic bone cutter in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. BoneScalpel is a tissue-specific osteotomy device capable of making cuts through bone and hard tissue while preserving soft-tissue structures, Misonix said.
