Carestream Health of Rochester, NY, has received a contract to supply a new RIS for eight departments at University Medical Center Groningen in the Netherlands.

Installation is scheduled for December. The Carestream RIS will interface with an existing PACS from Rogan-Delft of Veenendaal, the Netherlands.

The facility offers regional tertiary care to the northern part of the Netherlands, and its radiology department performs approximately 180,000 exams annually, or approximately 500 patients per working day.
