Medical imaging software developer MeVis Medical Solutions of Bremen, Germany, has increased its stake in Medis Holding of Leiden, the Netherlands, to 41%.
Medis provides cardiovascular specialists with quantification tools designed to improve diagnosis, reporting, treatment planning, and follow-up of cardiovascular diseases based on various imaging modalities.
The two companies also are considering the integration of Medis Holding into the MeVis Group in 2011. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.
