Ion Beam Applications (IBA) of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, and BV Cyclotron (BVC) of Amsterdam, Netherlands, will collaborate on the production and distribution of fluorine-18 (F-18)-labeled radiopharmaceuticals used in PET imaging.
The pact calls for IBA to become the exclusive distributor of F-18 FDG and other F-18-labeled compounds produced by BVC in Amsterdam, beginning January 1, 2010.
The partnership follows two previous agreements to produce and distribute iodine-124 and zirconium-89.
