Sybermedica's PACSMail provides bridge to China

U.K. healthcare software developer Sybermedica said that its PACSMail medical e-mail service is being used to provide an imaging bridge between the U.K. and China during the summer of 2008.

PACSMail allows musculoskeletal radiologists to provide advice to sports doctors in Hong Kong, Quingdao, Macau, and Beijing, according to Cambridge-based Sybermedica. Each center has been set up with a PACSMail connection, allowing doctors to send MRI and CT scans for remote review in the U.K. and also to share them within China, Sybermedica said.
