Carestream gets German RIS certification

Carestream Health has received the KBV certificate from Germany's Federal National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians for its RIS software.

The Rochester, NY, company received certification to participate in the initial rollout of an electronic healthcare card system in Germany.

KBV certification confirms that the software is compliant with the program's specifications and fulfills all requirements for the secure handling of patient insurance data.
