Radiopharmaceutical firm Ion Beam Applications (IBA) of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, will use Eczacıbaşı-Monrol Nuclear Products of Gebze, Turkey, to expand into the Balkans, Middle East, North Africa, and central and eastern Europe.
IBA has signed an agreement for Eczacıbaşı-Monrol to distribute and market IBA's PET and SPECT radiopharmaceuticals in those regions.
Eczacıbaşı-Monrol also plans to invest in three more FDG-PET production centers to complement its existing network of five cyclotrons.
