GE Healthcare has inked a long-term PET research agreement with Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) in Boston.
GE expects the deal will leverage its molecular imaging research efforts, allowing for a quick transition of these activities into a clinical environment, according to the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based vendor. Clinicians and scientists from GE and BWH will utilize molecular imaging technology and radiopharmaceutical development to help develop personalized approaches to the diagnosis and management of oncologic, neurologic, and cardiovascular diseases, the company said.
