Biotronics3D launches MRI software

Software developer Biotronics3D of London has launched new software for analyzing MRI scans, developed in partnership with the U.K. Institute of Cancer Research (ICR).

3Dnet Perfusion extracts data from images of tumors and translates that data into useful clinical information. It allows users to have better comprehension of MRI scans, improving the accuracy of diagnosis and assessment of treatment efficacy, according to Biotronics3D.

The software is the result of trials conducted at London-based ICR by Professor Martin Leach, David Collins, and James d'Arcy and is currently used in 10 research centers, Biotronics3D said.
