Elekta signs M. D. Anderson

Swedish oncology firm Elekta has received an order from the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

The institution will receive the Stockholm-based vendor's Leksell Gamma Knife Perfexion stereotactic radiosurgery system. It is expected to be operational by mid-2009, Elekta said.
