OR Technology adds Medici install

German image processing and PACS provider OR Technology has installed its retrofit Medici DR 1717-Duo system at Kreiskrankenhaus Demmin in Demmin, Germany.

The system includes two Varian Medical Systems PaxScan 4343R flat detectors, a PC, a Stadler 8X series generator, and the firm's dicomPACS DX-R acquisition software. The Medici installation is the first for OR Technology in northeast Germany, according to the Rostock, Germany-based vendor.
