Agfa HealthCare has been selected by Polish healthcare provider Enel-Med to install its Impax 6 PACS to serve the needs of its seven facilities and more than 360 medical institution customers across Poland.
The agreement also includes the installation of eight of Agfa computed radiography (CR) systems and seven Drystar 5302 imagers.
The Mortsel, Belgium-based company also will implement its Impax 6 PACS at four sites for the Bulgarian Ministry of Health. The contract includes the installation of two CR 85-X and four CR 35-X systems at the Clinical Center Alexandrowska in Sofia and hospitals in Sveta Anna, Blagoevgrad, and Stara Zagora.
In addition, Agfa has delivered the first phase of products at several sites for the Basque Health Service in Spain. Agfa HealthCare was selected in late 2007 to install its Impax 6 PACS, a centralized RIS, 59 CR devices, and 52 diagnostic imaging printers in five hospitals and 23 primary care centers in the Basque Country.
