Varian Medical Systems of Palo Alto, CA, has received an order from Aarhus University Hospital in Aarhus, Denmark, for three Clinac linear accelerators and nine RapidArc volumetric-arc therapy systems.
The order stems from a multiyear investment program by Aarhus University Hospital to consolidate all radiotherapy hardware and software in an integrated system.
Two of the treatment machines will be installed at a new radiotherapy center being constructed next to the general hospital in Herning.
