The European Society of Medical Imaging Informatics (EuSoMII) and the EuSoMII Young Club have announced a workshop day to be held before the start of its annual meeting in Heraklion, Crete.
Radiology residents, radiologists, radiographers, data scientists, medical physicists, and computer scientists under the age of 40 are invited to attend the event on 9 October.
Organized in collaboration with Bracco Imaging and InferVision, the AI workshop is an opportunity for small groups to practice and compete on different tasks related to the training, validation, and testing of AI models, according to EuSoMII.

Team registrations of preformed, multidisciplinary groups, affiliated with the same institution, hospital, or university are welcomed and encouraged. Registration requests will be approved by EuSoMII.
AI contest teams will also be formed by EuSoMII in order to balance expertise and country of origin. The contest winner will be announced during the meeting.
