A celebration of the life and work of Marion Frank will be held in London on 19 May.
The event, sponsored by the Society of Radiographers, the British Institute of Radiology (BIR), the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR), and friends of Marion Frank, will highlight her contributions to radiology. She died on 15 September 2011.
The event will be held from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday 19 May at the Regent Hall, 275, Oxford St., London.
Frank was superintendent radiographer of the Middlesex Hospital in London and principal of the Middlesex School of Radiography for many years. She was a past president of both the Society of Radiographers and the RCR in the U.K., and a past board member of the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT). She supported many radiographers and students, both from the U.K. and overseas, and received the ISRRT Dien Van Dijk Award in 2010.
