The American College of Radiology (ACR) has released a revised version of its contrast media manual.
Updated sections include guidance on allergic reactions to iodinated contrast, gastrointestinal contrast for adults, administration of contrast to pregnant or breastfeeding women, contrast for children, nephrogenic systemic fibrosis, contrast media injection, treatment of contrast reactions, and approved contrast agents, among other topics, according to the ACR.
