Biomedical device company Biotronik has received the CE Mark for the use of its Edora, Evity, and Enitra series of pacemakers with 3-tesla MRI scanners.
Patients implanted with single- and dual-chamber pacemakers from Biotronik's latest series of MR-conditional pacemakers systems can now receive ultrahigh-field MRI scans without any restrictions on the scanned body area, according to the company.
