Carestream Health has added enhancements to its image acquisition software used with DirectView Vita, Vita LE, and Vita SE, as well as its point-of-care computed radiography (CR) systems.
New features include a database for managing patient studies, a customizable user interface to enhance productivity, and advanced editing tools for image processing, image analysis, and annotation. Carestream has also added an improved CD/DVD viewer and the ability to output images to DVD directly from the scan screen.
The new CR software platform also offers an optional reject analysis tool, according to the firm.
