ITM Isotope Technologies Munich completed work on a new production line for non-carrier-added lutetium-177 (Lu-177) at its manufacturing facility in Garching, Germany.
The new production line was inspected and approved by government officials in Bavaria.
It is expected to help the company meet the growing needs of healthcare professionals and cancer patients, including the increase caused by recent market approvals, ITM representatives said.
In addition, ITM is currently building a new production site in Neufahrn, which is close to the company's headquarters in Munich.
