The International Bowel Ultrasound (IBUS) Group of Berlin and Alimentiv of London, Ontario, Canada will collaborate on intestinal ultrasound reading services for clinical trials of patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
Intestinal ultrasound reading services are being increasingly used in clinical practice, but this is less true in clinical trials, the two firms said. They plan to begin their collaboration in the fourth quarter of this year, with IBUS Group offering reading services to Alimentiv-sponsored clinical trials.
