The RSNA has announced program highlights ahead of its 2021 annual meeting to be held from 28 November to 2 December in Chicago.
The theme for this year's meeting is "Redefining Radiology." The opening session will include remarks from RSNA president Dr. Mary Mahoney, who will discuss new ideas and technologies that are redefining what it means to be a radiologist today.
"The pandemic has uncovered myriad issues in our profession, from inequities in patient access to care to inefficiencies in our workflows," Mahoney said in a statement released by the society.
Other highlights as the RSNA returns to an in-person format include a talk by Dr. James Merlino of the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio on patient care strategies and an image interpretation session, the RSNA said.
