Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems said that Herlev University Hospital in Herlev, Denmark, is the first institution in Scandinavia to begin using its Halcyon intensity-modulated radiotherapy system.
The first patient treatment was performed on a 42-year-old woman with anal cancer, according to the vendor.
