U.K. teleradiology group Medica Group credits "good progress with its strategic objectives of developing the core business" for an anticipated six-month revenue growth (end-30 June).
Unaudited revenues for the six-month period are expected to be 18.6 million pounds (20.9 million euros), which would represent an 18% increase over the first half of 2017.
The company also added 33 radiologists to its staff in the six-month period, compared with 19 additions in the same period of 2017. Medica group had 339 contracted radiologists, which includes radiographers and rheumatologists, as of 30 June, compared with 306 staff, as of 31 December 2017.
Audited financial results for the first half of 2018 are scheduled for release 12 September.
