Agfa HealthCare has completed the first phase of implementing home reporting as part of its enterprise imaging agreement with Alliance Medical Ireland.
Six radiologists are now using Agfa's Enterprise Imaging remote reporting function, and approximately 15 radiologists will be added in the next phases, according to the vendor. The home reporting users received an encrypted laptop connected to appropriate medical-grade displays and linked with Alliance infrastructure via a software virtual private network (VPN), Agfa said.
